Stooperdale Offices are a grade II listed building based in the heart of Darlington that were built in 1911 for the North-Eastern Railway Company. The grounds had become a little neglected and overgrown so the team at Beaumont Grounds Maintenance were called in to help.
The client requested that we revitalise their grounds to suitably enhance the setting of this beautiful building and provide on going grounds maintenance throughout the seasons. They also needed a winter maintenance plan to ensure staff and visitors could have safe access during the winter months.
We removed large overgrown shrubs at the front elevation of the building and replaced them with formal planting. Box hedging was used create a neat edge to the beds and roses were planted to give a colourful display in the spring and summer months.
An intense pruning and tidy improved other areas in a cost effective way and our on-going maintenance plan ensure the grounds are looking their best all year round.
When the adverse winter weather arrives the Beaumont gritting teams are out in force, working throughout the nights. Our pro-active service helps ensure the road access is kept open and it is as safe as possible for the office staff and visitors.
The grounds now enhance the beauty of this one hundred year old building. The formal front lawns are packed with colourful blooms in the summer. When the roses and shrubs are pruned back in the winter, the hedging ensures things remain neat and tidy. Road access and safety are maintained during the ice and snow.
“The service we have received from Beaumont Grounds Maintenance has been excellent. They have been responsive, flexible and professional, providing brilliant customer care. We are delighted with the results of our recent landscaping works and would not hesitate to recommend Alex and his team to anyone who takes their sites appearance seriously.
We now have a comprehensive ongoing maintenance package which ensures our historical building is complimented by our beautiful grounds.
